Mindful Media partnered with the University of Virginia's Center for Politics and 10th Collective on a documentary titled “Defenders of Democracy - The Thin Blue Line.” The documentary explores the humanity, trauma and irreparable loss of officers who protected the U.S. Capitol Building on Jan. 6, 2021, and partners of fallen officers who died as a direct result of the insurrection.

Through them, viewers glean details of what each went through that day, the challenges they continue to face as they work towards healing and why it is imperative to preserve democracy, especially in the wake of the upcoming presidential election.
